Off-White Invades India
Luxury brand targets young Indians with 2nd store ahead of festive season surge
Off-White has opened its second flagship store in India at DLF Promenade, New Delhi, ahead of the festive season. The store is operated by Sparsh India Couture Private Limited, Off-White's franchise partner for North India, in partnership with Brand Concepts Ltd.
The Delhi boutique follows the brand's Bengaluru debut and marks a strategic expansion into one of India's most influential luxury markets. Off-White was founded by the late Virgil Abloh and has become known for its unique blend of street culture, luxury, and creative design.
The store carries a curated selection of apparel, footwear, accessories, and lifestyle products, bringing Off-White's signature style to Delhi's premium retail market. Chandni Agarwal, Founder & CMD of Sparsh India Couture Private Limited, stated that the launch is timed to coincide with the festive season, when people are looking to refresh their wardrobes.
According to Agarwal, younger consumers are increasingly willing to mix contemporary fashion with traditional occasions, making it an ideal time to launch the brand in India. The country's festive season typically drives a sharp rise in discretionary spending, wardrobe refreshes, and luxury purchases.
## Why it matters The launch of the Off-White store in Delhi is significant, as it marks a growing interest in luxury brands among India's younger consumers. With the country's festive season approaching, the brand is well-positioned to capitalize on the increased demand for high-end products. As Agarwal noted, the Indian consumer is now more globally exposed than a decade ago, making it an ideal time to launch renowned international brands in the country.
The store's opening is also a testament to the growing importance of the Indian luxury market, which is consistently ranked among the most influential in the country. With its unique design language and blend of street culture and luxury, Off-White is likely to appeal to India's younger luxury consumers, who are looking for brands that reflect their individuality and style.
