Editorial Policy

NewsNation247 exists to report what actually happened, traced to the record. These standards govern everything we publish.

Sourcing

We prefer primary sources — official notifications, regulatory releases, exchange filings, court and government orders, and original company disclosures. Secondary reporting is used for corroboration and discovery, not as a substitute for the primary record. Every article lists its sources.

Verification

Factual claims are checked against their sources before publication. A claim that cannot be supported is removed or held for human review. Market-moving, legal and sensitive claims require stronger corroboration and, where appropriate, human sign-off.

Independence

Our editorial judgement is not for sale. Commercial relationships never determine whether or how we cover a story, and sponsored content is labelled as such.

Accuracy & corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it transparently — see Corrections. When a source updates or retracts, we update the affected articles rather than silently changing dates.

Priority order

Source legitimacy → factuality → legal safety → originality → reader value → discoverability. Traffic never overrides accuracy.
