TSA Unlocks 13 Airports
Gateside by TSA PreCheck lets members access terminals beyond security without a flight at 13 US airports, with more to come
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has introduced Gateside by TSA PreCheck, a free program that enables TSA PreCheck members to access airport terminals beyond security checkpoints without a flight. This program is currently available at 13 airports in the US, including Mesa Gateway Airport, John Glenn Columbus International Airport, and Los Angeles International Airport.
The program is available to TSA PreCheck members and those with Known Traveler Numbers (KTNs), allowing them to use dedicated TSA PreCheck lanes for a smoother entry. Children are also eligible to visit, but must be entered on their parent or guardian's reservation.
To participate in the program, applicants must apply 1-3 days before their planned visit. Once approved, they can bring an acceptable form of ID and head to the TSA PreCheck lanes at the airport. Visitors are held to the same airport code of conduct rules as ticketed passengers, and availability may be limited during peak times.
