YVU & Oman Uni Seal Research Deal
Partnership to boost collaboration in physics, chemistry, and nanotechnology, benefiting students and faculty from both institutions
Yogi Vemana University (YVU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) in Muscat, Oman, to facilitate collaboration in education and research. The MoU connects YVU's physics, chemistry, material science, and nanotechnology departments with SQU's Department of Chemistry.
The collaboration will focus on areas such as research, student and faculty exchange, training programmes, conduct of seminars, workshops, and joint research publications. Rengaraj Selvaraj, a professor of Chemistry, signed the MoU on behalf of SQU, while P. Padma, YVU registrar in-charge, exchanged the MoU copy with him.
Rengaraj Selvaraj delivered a seminar talk on 'Nanotechnology for Sustainable Future' as part of the event. He was later felicitated by YVU Vice-Chancellor Bellamkonda Rajasekhar, in the presence of principal T. Srinivas and dean (Sciences) A.G. Ramu.
