Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 star worked 5 days with 104° fever before dengue forced her to bed rest
Television actor Avika Gor has been hospitalised with dengue after enduring five consecutive days of high fever reaching 103–104 degrees. She was admitted following medical advice after her condition did not improve.
Gor, a contestant on the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, continued to fulfil her professional commitments throughout the five-day period despite the persistent fever. Her husband, Milind Chandwani, shared updates on her health, noting her dedication to her work even while unwell.
Doctors have advised Gor to take 15 days of complete bed rest following her hospitalisation. Chandwani confirmed that her platelet count is now showing signs of improvement.
The hospitalisation comes amid a broader surge in dengue and fever cases in several Indian cities, with hospitals reporting increased admissions for severe symptoms.
