## What Is 'Newlyweds' About? 'Newlyweds' opens with Jeanie and James attempting to avoid a blind date, but they accidentally cross paths and end up having dinner together. They quickly discover they have a lot in common, but also a lot of differences. Despite the complications they foresee arising, they stay in touch and end up spontaneously getting married after only knowing each other for a few weeks.

The show is a fun and refreshing take on comedies of the past, while also tapping into present-day culture. With its talented ensemble cast and relatable storyline, 'Newlyweds' has the potential to appeal to a wide range of audiences.
