Journey drummer Deen Castronovo has made a swift return to the stage, playing a full show with the band in San Antonio on Saturday night, just two nights after a medical scare in Tulsa. Castronovo was assisted off stage after two songs in Tulsa and admitted to a hospital on Thursday night, but he was back behind the drums in San Antonio, performing a 29-song set with the band.

The show in Tulsa was reduced to 19 songs due to the interruption and the late start, with drum tech Steve Toomey filling in for the remainder of the show. However, Castronovo was back to his usual self in San Antonio, singing lead vocals on five songs, including 'Lights', 'Keep on Runnin'', 'Precious Time', 'Just the Same Way', and 'Anytime'.

Before the San Antonio show, Castronovo posted a message on social media, thanking fans for their support and announcing his return to the stage. He also expressed his gratitude to his bandmates and the audience in Tulsa for their well wishes and prayers.

Journey's guitarist Neal Schon had assured fans that Castronovo would be back for the San Antonio show, saying 'Deen is doing great'. After the show, Schon commented that Castronovo had 'crushed' his performance, and was 'back in rare form'.

## What's next for Journey The band's North American leg of their 'Final Frontier' farewell tour runs through November 28th, with several shows still to come. Fans can still get tickets for the upcoming shows, which will feature Castronovo back behind the drums.

The swift return of Castronovo to the stage is a relief for fans, who were concerned about his health after the medical scare in Tulsa. The incident had raised questions about the band's ability to continue their farewell tour, but Castronovo's recovery has put those concerns to rest. With the tour set to continue through the end of November, fans can look forward to seeing Journey perform live, with Castronovo back to his usual self behind the drums.
