Netflix has acquired the limited series 'The Headlands House', starring Colman Domingo, after a competitive bidding war. The thriller series, written and executive produced by Cameron B. Dupont, follows a gay couple whose dream home was previously the site of a brutal murder, and whose own lives may now be in danger.

The series is currently in development at Netflix from AMC Studios, marking an expansion into third-party production for the studio. Colman Domingo and Raúl Domingo executive produce The Headlands House for Edith Productions, while Patrick Moran executive produces for PKM Productions.

This is not Colman Domingo's first collaboration with Netflix. He has previously headlined the limited series 'The Madness' and stars in the comedy series 'The Four Seasons', for which he has earned two Emmy nominations. Domingo also has a relationship with AMC Global Media, having starred as Victor Strand on 'Fear the Walking Dead'.
