Spike Jonze Launches Limited-Edition Eyewear
The Oscar-winning director teams up with Warby Parker to reissue four of his favorite discontinued frames, priced from $95

Spike Jonze has launched a limited-edition eyewear collection with Warby Parker, featuring four of his favorite discontinued frames from the brand's archives. The collection, which launched on September 1, includes optical and sunglass styles, with prices starting at $95.
The collection includes four styles: Percey, Begley, Locke, and Yoojin. The Percey style was originally released in September 2018, while the Begley style was first released in November 2020. The Locke style was originally released in December 2021, and the Yoojin style was originally released in December 2022.
Each pair of frames comes with a short letter from Jonze and fluorescent stickers. Jonze has worn Warby Parker glasses for over a decade and approached the brand about collaborating on the collection. He offers his own commentary on each pair, explaining why he likes each style.
Humberto Leon photographed five of Jonze's friends wearing the reissued frames for the collection's launch. The friends, including skater and artist Jerry Hsu, model the frames in clothing from Jonze's own closet.
