Spotify Launches Program to Support 10,000 Emerging Artists

Spotify has launched the Fresh Finds Forward program to support emerging independent musicians, providing resources and tools to approximately 10,000 artists annually. The program builds on the success of Fresh Finds playlists, which have driven over 128 million new artist discoveries since 2024.

The Fresh Finds Forward program will provide participating artists with 12 months of resources, including free studio time and mental health resources. Fresh Finds playlists have been active on Spotify for more than a decade, helping over 80,000 artists across 127 countries find new listeners. Eligible artists added to Fresh Finds from January 1, 2026, onward can join the Fresh Finds Forward program via Spotify for Artists. Participating artists will receive early access to select Spotify tools and features, exclusive programming and community, and prioritized access to tour or music video partnerships with the company.
