Stevie Wonder has announced a 50th anniversary tour for his album Songs in the Key of Life, where he will perform the album in full across 18 dates in the UK, Europe, and the US. The tour kicks off on October 13th in Birmingham, UK and concludes on December 19th in Los Angeles, CA.
The album Songs in the Key of Life was released in 1976 and features the songs 'I Wish', 'Isn’t She Lovely', 'As', and 'Sir Duke'. Stevie Wonder produced, wrote, and arranged nearly every track on the album, which is part of the National Recording Registry overseen by the Library of Congress.
The tour includes stops in Paris, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Cologne, Amsterdam, Dublin, London, Manchester, and Glasgow, before heading to the US for shows in New York City, Chicago, Washington, DC, Detroit, and Los Angeles. A general ticket on-sale for US shows (except Detroit) is set for Thursday, September 10th at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
