Toronto Film Fest Lineup Finalized With 11 New Films

The Toronto International Film Festival has finalized its 2026 lineup with the addition of 11 new films, including Martin McDonagh's Wild Horse Nine and Werner Herzog's Bucking Fastard. The total number of titles at the festival now stands at 293.

The new additions to the lineup include Cody Fern's directorial debut Closing Night, which will have its world premiere at the festival. Other notable films include Bucking Fastard, starring Kate Mara and Rooney Mara, and Wild Horse Nine, starring John Malkovich, Sam Rockwell, Parker Posey, Steve Buscemi, and Tom Waits.

The festival will also feature a documentary about the late Rush drummer and lyricist Neil Peart, titled Neil Peart: No One's Disciple. Additionally, the film The Liberation, directed by Guy Nattiv, will be screened at the festival and stars Carrie Coon, Lily James, and Bella Ramsey.

## What's Screening The Special Presentations program will include international premieres for Nanni Moretti's It Will Happen Tonight and Stéphane Brizé's Un bon petit soldat (A Good Little Soldier). The Centrepiece section will feature a world premiere for Bahman Ghobadi's Trees are Watching.
