Tracker Season 4: Russell Shaw in Danger

Tracker season 4 is set to put Russell Shaw, played by Jensen Ackles, in a precarious situation. After being shot while trying to save DARPA test subjects in the season 3 finale, Russell discovered shocking information about his late father. Showrunner Elwood Reid has hinted that Russell will be at the mercy of someone who is exploiting his skills for their own gain.

The season 3 finale saw Russell make a deal with government authorities to work on their behalf, and it seems this decision will have far-reaching consequences. Reid wants to explore the secret Russell uncovered at the end of season 3, which could create tension between Russell and his brother Colter Shaw, played by Justin Hartley. Colter will continue to solve missing person cases in season 4, but the dynamics between the two brothers may be affected by Russell's new situation.

Jensen Ackles has returned to the Tracker set to film episode 5 of season 4, and Reid hopes to have him back for additional episodes. The showrunner is eager to delve deeper into the trouble Russell has gotten himself into and potentially have Colter come to his rescue. The chemistry between Ackles and Hartley has been a highlight of the show, and their sibling relationship is a key aspect of the series.
