Ather Energy led a weekly surge in new-age tech stocks with a 17.45% gain, closing at ₹1,480.80 and hitting a record high of ₹1,507.30 on August 6, 2026. The rally followed the company’s strong Q1 FY27 earnings report released on August 3.

The broader market saw 37 of 59 listed new-age tech stocks finish the week in positive territory. Capillary Technologies rose 12.68%, while Urban Company climbed 11.17%, both driven by their quarterly earnings. Ola Electric gained 6.18% ahead of its Q1 results, which were released after market hours on August 7.

MapmyIndia emerged as the week’s biggest loser, with its stock declining after reporting muted Q1 FY27 earnings. Among the decliners, 21 new-age tech stocks fell between 0.3% and 14.17%. ixigo’s stock dropped 11.07% to close at ₹175.60 following its earnings release.

Klassroom, an edtech company, debuted on the BSE SME platform at a 7% premium but ended its first trading session 1.91% below its listing price of ₹170.
