Skyways Air IPO Seeks ₹138/Share
The logistics company aims to raise funds for long-term growth with a price band of ₹131-₹138 per share, after raising ₹174.5 crore from anchor investors

Skyways Air Services, a leading air freight forwarder, is set to launch its initial public offering (IPO) with a price band of ₹131-₹138 per share. The company aims to raise funds for long-term growth and has already raised ₹174.5 crore from anchor investors ahead of its IPO.
The IPO comprises a fresh issue of up to 2.89 crore equity shares and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of up to 1.33 crore shares by promoters and existing shareholders. The issue will open for subscription on 24 August and close on 27 August.
Skyways Air Services has been consistently ranked No. 1 Air Freight Forwarder in terms of air waybills (AWB) from 2022 to 2025. The company maintains direct commercial relationships with 56 international airlines and has developed proprietary platforms to support different aspects of logistics operations.
The company's air cargo volume grew to 84 thousand tonnes in FY26 from 48 thousand tonnes in FY24, while ocean containers volume increased to 28,275 TEUs in FY26 from 16,294 TEUs in FY24. This significant growth in air cargo and ocean container volumes is expected to drive the company's long-term growth.
## Why it matters The IPO is significant for investors looking for high-risk, high-reward opportunities. The logistics industry is expected to continue growing, driven by increasing demand for air and ocean freight services. However, investors should be cautious of the high price-earnings (P/E) multiple of up to 32, which is lower than some of its peers.
The company's ability to deliver long-term growth will depend on its ability to maintain its market position and continue to grow its air cargo and ocean container volumes. With the IPO, Skyways Air Services aims to raise funds to invest in its operations and expand its services, which could drive future growth.
## What happens next The Skyways Air Services IPO will open for subscription on 24 August and close on 27 August. Investors looking to subscribe to the IPO should carefully evaluate the company's financials and growth prospects before making a decision. With the logistics industry expected to continue growing, the Skyways Air Services IPO could be an attractive opportunity for investors looking for high-risk, high-reward investments.
