Southern Brave replaces injured India star with Charli Knott after 143-run stint
Jemimah Rodrigues has been withdrawn from The Hundred after suffering a hamstring injury, ending a 143-run campaign for Southern Brave. Australian all-rounder Charli Knott has been named as her replacement.
The injury was confirmed by Southern Brave on August 8, 2026. The club announced Knott’s signing as an injury replacement for the remainder of the tournament. Rodrigues had scored 143 runs in six innings at an average of 35.75 and a strike rate of 131.19, with a highest score of 42 not out.
The Women’s T20 Asia Cup begins on August 28, with India’s opening match against Thailand scheduled for August 30. Rodrigues now has less than three weeks to recover in time for the tournament. The extent of her injury has not been disclosed, and her participation remains uncertain.
