The victory has moved Trent Rockets eight points clear at the top of The Hundred. However, their men's team still faces a nervous wait to see if they will qualify automatically for the final.
In the women's competition, Trent Rockets have qualified for the final with a three-wicket win over Southern Brave, thanks to a match-winning cameo from Nat Sciver-Brunt, who scored 32 off 19 balls. The women's team finished with 28 points and seven wins from their eight group games.
Southern Brave will play in the eliminator on Friday at The Kia Oval. Meanwhile, Sunrisers Leeds could still pip Trent Rockets to top spot if they beat Manchester Super Giants at Old Trafford on Tuesday. Tristan Stubbs had scored an unbeaten 52 off 28 balls for Southern Brave in the women's game.
