Tennis Star Caty McNally Partners With Vivobarefoot
24-year-old American tennis player Caty McNally has signed a sponsorship deal with footwear brand Vivobarefoot after discovering the brand while recovering from an elbow injury

American tennis player Caty McNally has partnered with footwear brand Vivobarefoot on a sponsorship deal. The 24-year-old discovered the brand while recovering from an elbow injury, which led her to work with German fitness group Integralis.
McNally learned about the importance of natural movement and foot health through her work with Integralis, which emphasized the benefits of barefoot activity. She noticed staff members wearing Vivobarefoot and was later gifted a pair by the company's head. McNally enjoyed training in the shoes and a deal between her and Vivobarefoot soon materialized.
Nicholas Charlier, general manager of Vivobarefoot USA, says the partnership with McNally is an ideal fit due to the organic connection between the athlete and the brand. Charlier believes that working with professional athletes like McNally provides a powerful way to demonstrate the real-world benefits of Vivobarefoot's mission to promote natural health through movement.
## Why it matters The partnership between McNally and Vivobarefoot highlights the importance of foot health and natural movement in athletic performance. As one of the most physically demanding sports, tennis requires agility, balance, power, and resilience, making healthy, strong feet a crucial foundation for success. Vivobarefoot's mission to help people reconnect with their natural health through movement aligns with McNally's experience and values.
Vivobarefoot plans to open its first US retail presence in Manhattan's SoHo district this September, further expanding its global reach. The brand does not currently have a dedicated tennis court shoe, but its partnership with McNally may pave the way for future developments in this area.
