Umang App Offers 5 EPFO Services
Access UAN, EPF balance and claim status with Aadhaar and face verification in 5 easy steps

The Umang app now offers 5 EPFO services, including UAN allotment and activation, EPF balance check, passbook download, claim status check, and KYC updates.
To generate and activate UAN on the Umang app, EPFO members must have a valid Aadhaar number and access to an Aadhaar-linked mobile number for OTP verification. The Umang app also requires face authentication using the Aadhaar Face RD app for UAN allotment and activation.
EPFO members can check their EPF balance, download their passbook, and check the status of their claim through the Umang app. The app updates the EPFO database with a photo and address after successful UAN activation.
The Ministry of Labour & Employment announced the availability of EPFO services on the Umang app through a social media post on Twitter. EPFO members can activate their UAN on the Umang app by following a 5-step process, including entering UAN and Aadhaar details, sending an OTP, and proceeding with face authentication.
