Adobe Brings 70+ Tools to Slack
Photoshop, Firefly, and more now available directly in Slack through new MCP app, allowing teams to create and edit content without leaving the platform

Adobe has launched the Adobe for Slack MCP app, which brings over 70 creative tools, including Photoshop and Firefly, directly into Slack. The app is available to Slack Business+ and Enterprise+ customers globally, allowing teams to create and edit content without leaving the platform.
The Adobe for Slack MCP app allows users to access Adobe tools, including Photoshop, Firefly, and Acrobat, directly through Slackbot. Users can use the app without an Adobe account, but having one unlocks more tools and features. The app can also search Creative Cloud assets by subject, style, or mood and bring the results into a Slack workflow for further editing.
The integration is part of Adobe's push to bring its tools into AI chatbots, following similar integrations with ChatGPT and Claude. Adobe has also promised a Gemini integration in the future. Possible uses of the integration include turning a spreadsheet into a visual, creating marketing or social media content from templates, and executing bulk edits on a large number of images.
## What it means The launch of the Adobe for Slack MCP app is significant, as it allows teams to streamline their creative workflows and reduce the need to switch between different applications. The integration also highlights the growing importance of AI-powered tools in creative workflows, as well as the need for companies to adapt to changing regulatory requirements, such as the EU AI Act, which requires synthetic content to be marked in a machine-readable format.
The EU AI Act, which came into effect on August 2, 2026, requires companies to mark synthetic content, such as images and videos, in a machine-readable format. Adobe's C2PA standard, which is listed as a way to meet this requirement, provides a way for companies to comply with the regulation. The integration of Adobe's tools into Slack also provides a way for teams to review and iterate on assets inside channels, making it easier to collaborate and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
