Insta360 Mic: $80 Wireless Mic With Expandable Storage

Insta360 has released a new wireless microphone called the Insta360 Mic, which features expandable storage via microSD card and a lower price point than the previous Mic Pro model. The Insta360 Mic is priced at $79.99 for the microphone alone and $249.99 for a bundle with a receiver and charging case.

The Insta360 Mic has a range of up to 400 meters when paired with Insta360's wireless receiver and features AI-powered noise canceling to reduce background noise. It also has a customizable e-ink display, which can be personalized with logos, photos, or solid colors.

The Insta360 Mic can connect directly to most of Insta360's recent cameras, including the Luna Ultra, Luna Pro, X6, and GO Ultra, recording 48kHz audio without a receiver. One receiver supports up to four mics, and it also works with the Mic Pro if you already own one.

The main difference between the Insta360 Mic and the existing Mic Pro is the lack of a triple-mic array, which supports directional sound pickup. However, the Insta360 Mic has expandable storage via microSD card, allowing for more flexibility in recording.

## What it offers The Insta360 Mic has a battery life of up to 13 hours, which can be boosted to 34 hours with the charging case. It weighs 19.4 grams, slightly lighter than the Mic Pro's 19.7 grams.

## Why it matters The Insta360 Mic is a more affordable alternative to the Mic Pro, making it an attractive option for content creators who want a high-quality wireless microphone without breaking the bank. With its customizable e-ink display, expandable storage, and AI-powered noise canceling, the Insta360 Mic is a solid choice for those looking for a reliable and feature-rich wireless microphone.

The release of the Insta360 Mic fills the gap between the $330 Mic Pro and the affordable Mic Air, providing a mid-range option for creators who want a balance of quality and price. With its competitive pricing and impressive features, the Insta360 Mic is likely to appeal to a wide range of users, from YouTubers to podcasters and live streamers.
