Lenovo Unveils Laptop With Expandable 17-Inch Screen

Lenovo has unveiled two new laptop concepts, Project Swan and Project AeroBlade, at IFA 2026. Project Swan features a 14-inch screen that can expand into a 17-inch, 16:9 screen, making it ideal for multitasking and potentially replacing the need for a portable monitor.
The Project Swan laptop is 17.9mm thick and weighs 1.6kg, making it a compact and portable device. The rollable display can transform the 14-inch screen into a larger 17-inch display, providing more screen space when needed.
In addition to Project Swan, Lenovo has also showcased Project AeroBlade, a 14-inch laptop concept that uses solid-state cooling technology to achieve a thin and light design. Project AeroBlade is less than 10mm thick and weighs under 1.8 pounds (830g), making it an ultra-portable device.
Project AeroBlade uses Frore's AirJet technology, which uses piezo electric membranes to force air through the chassis without any fans or moving parts. This technology enables sustained performance without overheating, making it ideal for thin and light laptops.
