## Why it matters The implementation of Namibia's climate action plan is crucial for the country's development and its ability to adapt to changing environmental conditions. The plan's success will be judged by the impact it has on the lives of Namibians, including access to water and food during times of drought.
United Nations Development Programme representative Amanda Serumaga emphasized the importance of taking financing the NDC 3.0 seriously and reflecting climate priorities in public expenditure and investment decisions. The country's ability to secure international financing will play a significant role in determining the success of its climate action plan.
The stakes are high, and the implementation of Namibia's climate action plan will have a significant impact on the country's future. With the majority of the investment required being conditional upon international support, the country's ability to secure financing will be crucial in determining its ability to meet its climate goals.
