Druski To Host 'Last-Ever' SNL Episode
Comedian Druski jokes about hosting the final episode of Saturday Night Live, with The Strokes as musical guest, as he promotes his new Netflix series
Druski is set to host Saturday Night Live, and in a promo, he jokingly claims it will be the 'last-ever episode' of the show. The comedian will be joined by musical guest The Strokes, who will make their fifth appearance on the show.
The episode will air on NBC and Peacock at 11:30 p.m. ET and 8:30 p.m. PT. Druski will appear live from the Comcast Building at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in Midtown Manhattan.
Druski recently signed a multi-year deal with Netflix and is promoting his new comedy series, Collect and Praise, which premieres on Netflix in December.
## Why it matters The hosting gig is a significant milestone for Druski, who has been making waves in the comedy world with his unapologetic style and willingness to push social boundaries. His appearance on SNL is likely to generate buzz and attract new fans to his upcoming Netflix series.
The Strokes' fifth appearance as musical guest on SNL is also notable, as they join a select group of artists who have performed on the show multiple times.
Druski's joke about hosting the 'last-ever' episode of SNL is likely a tongue-in-cheek reference to his own irreverent style and willingness to challenge conventions. However, it's clear that SNL is still going strong, with a new season of episodes and a star-studded lineup of hosts and musical guests.
