Justin H. Min's film 'Journey There' has been sold to multiple territories, including Japan, Taiwan, Mongolia, and Israel, by Korean sales company Finecut. The film, which marks Min's first Korean production, has been acquired by KDDI Corporation in Japan, Andrews Film in Taiwan, Lev Cinema in Israel, and Izagur Media in Mongolia.

Finecut has also sold 'Nowhere To Lay My Eyes', directed by Hong Sangsoo, to multiple territories, including France, Japan, Argentina, and Portugal. The film, which won Best Direction, Best Performance, and the Ecumenical Jury Prize at the Locarno film festival, has been acquired by Carlotta Films in France, Mimosa Films in Japan, Kligger in Argentina, and The Stone and the Plot in Portugal.

'Journey There' was released in Korea on October 28 and follows the story of a middle-aged woman who, after losing her husband, begins preparing for a journey of her own, only to encounter unexpected connections in her new apartment. The film is directed by Kim Jin-yu and marks his second feature film after 'Bori', which won two awards at the Schlingel International Film Festival.

The sales of both films were negotiated by Finecut at the Asian Contents & Film Market in Busan. The company will now move on to the AFM in Los Angeles, where it will be selling the animated feature 'Long Long Night'.

## What's Next The sales of 'Journey There' and 'Nowhere To Lay My Eyes' to multiple territories mark a significant milestone for Finecut and the Korean film industry. With the films set to be released in various countries, they are expected to reach a wider audience and gain international recognition.

The success of these films also highlights the growing demand for Korean content globally. With the rise of K-dramas and K-pop, Korean culture has become increasingly popular worldwide, and the film industry is no exception. The sales of 'Journey There' and 'Nowhere To Lay My Eyes' are a testament to the quality and appeal of Korean films, and Finecut's efforts to promote them internationally.
