Neil Young Returns To Stage
Music legend Neil Young will co-headline two shows with Willie Nelson in September, ahead of his new album Second Song release on September 18th

Neil Young will return to the road with two shows next month, co-headlining with Willie Nelson in Connecticut and Pennsylvania. The shows will take place on September 22nd at Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and on September 24th at Highmark Mann Center For The Performing Arts in Philadelphia.
Ty Myers will open both shows, which will feature Young and his backing band Chrome Hearts, as well as Willie Nelson & Family. Tickets for the shows will go on sale on Friday, August 21st at 10:00 a.m. ET.
Young's new album Second Song will be released on September 18th, just before the two co-headlining shows. The album will include a few unreleased tracks that Young wrote in 1963.
In addition to the two shows, Neil Young and Willie Nelson will also play at this year's Farm Aid benefit concert on September 26th. This will be Young's first full-band show since last October, although he did make a surprise live return at a Vancouver benefit in May.
## Why it matters The return of Neil Young to the stage is significant for music fans, as he has been on a break since last year. Young and Chrome Hearts had initially planned to tour Europe in June and July, but the tour was canceled. The two shows with Willie Nelson will be a welcome return to live music for fans, and the release of Second Song will provide new music for fans to enjoy.
## What happens next Tickets for the shows are available on the Neil Young Archives website, and fans can also purchase tickets through Ticketmaster. With the release of Second Song and the two co-headlining shows, Neil Young is set to make a big impact on the music scene in the coming weeks.
