Cognizant to Acquire SAP Partner DyFlex for $100-150M
The acquisition is expected to expand Cognizant's SAP and artificial intelligence capabilities in Australia and New Zealand, adding over 300 employees to its roster

Cognizant has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire DyFlex Solutions, an Australia-headquartered SAP services provider, in a deal estimated to be worth around $100-150 million. The acquisition is expected to expand Cognizant's SAP and artificial intelligence capabilities in Australia and New Zealand.
DyFlex Solutions, founded in 2011, has over 300 employees and provides advisory, implementation, and managed services across the SAP ecosystem in Australia and New Zealand. The company also has a delivery presence in the Philippines and serves industries such as mining, energy, and utilities.
The acquisition is part of Cognizant's efforts to strengthen its enterprise platform, AI, and SAP capabilities in the region. The company plans to combine DyFlex's regional SAP expertise and proprietary delivery tools with its AI platforms, including Neuro AI Enterprise Core and the Cognizant SAP Agentic AI Platform.
This is Cognizant's third acquisition in 2026, following the acquisition of Astreya and 3Cloud. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals.
## Why it matters The acquisition is significant as it highlights the growing importance of SAP and artificial intelligence in the technology services industry. Consulting firms are expanding their involvement in SAP's AI ecosystem, with Deloitte also investing in SAP-focused AI implementation. The acquisition is expected to help Cognizant's clients deploy AI and agentic systems across their SAP environments, driving business transformation and modernization.
The acquisition also underscores Cognizant's commitment to expanding its capabilities in Australia and New Zealand. With over 70% of its employees based in India, the company is looking to strengthen its presence in the region and provide more comprehensive services to its clients.
## What happens next The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals. Until then, Cognizant and DyFlex will continue to operate as separate businesses. Once the deal is completed, Cognizant is expected to integrate DyFlex's capabilities into its existing operations, enhancing its SAP and AI offerings in the region.
