Skida Boosts 81% Of Wholesale
Partners with NuOrder to streamline inventory and introduce digital line sheets for top brands like Stio and U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team

Skida, a Vermont-based outdoor headwear and accessories brand, has partnered with NuOrder to strengthen its wholesale business. The partnership has introduced digital line sheets and two portals, Skida Prebook and Skida ASAP, to protect seasonal allocations and increase inventory turnover.
The new system allows Skida's wholesale buyers to select specific prints for their customers, a feature that was previously lacking. This is a significant improvement, as Skida's designs and prints are a key part of its brand identity. According to Carleigh Garrett, North American sales manager at Skida, customers tie the brand's prints to their self-expression, making it important for buyers to be able to select specific prints.
Prior to the partnership, Skida managed orders and inventory on spreadsheets, which created several pain points. The brand's static text-based order books could not feature its wide array of products, and amalgamating preseason orders with instant stock created complicated inventory issues. The biggest problem was that the retailer would immediately burn through inventory, leaving little for the rest of the season.
The partnership with NuOrder has addressed these issues, allowing Skida to better manage its inventory and protect its seasonal allocations. The two portals, Skida Prebook and Skida ASAP, provide a more efficient wholesale model for the brand. Skida works with top-tier brands in the outdoor industry, including Stio, Oboz, Wild Rye, and the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team, and 81 percent of its wholesale business operates with these brands.
## Why it matters The partnership between Skida and NuOrder is significant because it highlights the importance of efficient wholesale models for outdoor brands. By introducing digital line sheets and improving inventory management, Skida is able to better serve its customers and protect its seasonal allocations. This is particularly important for a brand like Skida, which is known for its designs and prints. The partnership also demonstrates the value of B2B commerce platforms like NuOrder in helping brands to streamline their wholesale operations.
