## Why it matters The bank holidays in November 2026 will affect banking services across the country. However, digital services, including online net banking and mobile apps, will remain operational on bank holidays, ensuring uninterrupted access to banking services.

## What happens next Customers can use online banking services and bank mobile apps for convenient financial transactions during the bank holidays. It is advisable to check the official RBI holiday calendar or contact the nearest local bank branch for the confirmed holiday schedule.

The bank holidays are scheduled as per the Reserve Bank of India's rules, which mandate that all scheduled and non-scheduled banks observe listed holidays and mandatory closure on second and fourth Saturdays and every Sunday in a month. In-branch services will be shut during the holidays, but digital services will remain available.
