Grab Lifts 2026 Forecasts to $4.2B
Singapore's ride-hailing giant sees strong demand for its services, with revenue expected to rise to $4.15-4.20 billion, up from previous forecasts of $4.10-4.15 billion

Singapore's Grab has lifted its 2026 forecasts due to strong demand for its ride-hailing and delivery services. The company now expects revenue to be between $4.15 billion and $4.20 billion, up from its previous forecast range of $4.10 billion to $4.15 billion.
Grab's financial services unit reported its first-ever core profit in the September quarter, with an adjusted EBITDA of $12 million. This is a significant turnaround from the unit's loss of $28 million last year. The growth in financial services was driven by increased adoption of the company's loans, insurance products, and other financial services among its drivers and merchants.
The company's ride-hailing unit also saw steady growth, while demand for its delivery services was boosted by promotional offers and expansion into categories beyond groceries. Grab's third-quarter revenue rose 27% to $1.11 billion, beating analysts' estimates of $1.07 billion.
Grab projected annual EBITDA of $790 million to $800 million, versus $720 million to $740 million earlier. The company's shares rose 5% in extended trading on Monday, despite having fallen 42% so far this year.
## Why it matters The strong demand for Grab's services is a positive sign for the company, which has been facing challenges such as elevated fuel costs and inflation. Despite these pressures, the company has been able to attract and retain customers, with promotions and incentives such as fuel subsidies, insurance benefits, and lending programmes helping to boost the number of active drivers. The growth in financial services also presents a new opportunity for the company, as it expands its offerings beyond ride-hailing and delivery.
## What happens next Grab's strong forecasts and revenue growth are likely to be closely watched by investors and analysts. The company's ability to maintain its growth momentum and navigate challenges such as inflation and fuel costs will be key to its success in the coming year. With the crucial holiday travel season approaching, Grab's incentives for drivers and expansion into new categories are likely to be important factors in driving growth and revenue for the company.
