Sprintpackage has moved its production to a larger 20,000m² site in Guangzhou's Baiyun District, increasing its annual output to two to three times its previous level. The company serves buyers mainly in Europe and the Middle East across food, cosmetics and health supplement packaging applications.

The new facility contains six automated lines covering the production stages from tube winding and slitting to paper mounting, curling and assembly. Automation accounts for more than 80% of operations at the new plant, with daily output reported at 200,000 to 300,000 units.

Sprintpackage has worked with more than 10,000 clients since 2014, including supplying customised paper tubes to over 500 international sushi chains. The new factory expects to ship ten million to 15 million sushi tubes annually.

The company's sushi tube products are certified under the EU's EC1935/2004 food-contact requirements and the GFSI-recognised BRC Global Standard for Packaging. The plant also fully complies with the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) requirements concerning packaging waste management.

## Why it matters The expansion of Sprintpackage's production capacity is significant, as it increases the company's ability to meet the growing demand for packaging products in Europe and the Middle East. With its automated lines and high daily output, the company is well-positioned to serve its clients efficiently and effectively. The certification of its products under EU and GFSI-recognised standards also ensures that they meet the required safety and quality standards.

## What happens next As Sprintpackage continues to increase its production capacity, it is likely to further expand its client base and increase its market share in the packaging industry. With its focus on quality, customer service, and compliance with regulatory requirements, the company is well-placed to achieve its goals and become a leading player in the global packaging market.
