Trezor, a cold storage crypto wallet firm, has reported a data breach affecting nearly 14,000 customers due to unauthorized access to its fulfillment partner ShipMonk's systems. The breach exposed personal data such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, and shipping addresses.
The breach affects customers across the U.S., the UK, Sweden, Colombia, Brazil, Italy, and Portugal. Specifically, the names, email addresses, phone numbers, and shipping addresses of 11,742 customers were compromised. Additionally, the names, cities, and email addresses of another 1,947 customers were also breached.
Trezor notified all affected customers via email. Customers who purchased through Amazon are not affected, as those orders are fulfilled by a separate partner. Trezor's own systems were not compromised, and crypto wallet devices remain secure.
