350 Shows Hit France's Top TV Market
130 buyers flock to Le Havre for exclusive screenings of 'Beasts of the Colosseum' and 'Swapped'

The Unifrance Rendez-Vous TV market, France's premiere TV programming market, will take place from September 7-10 in Le Havre, France, featuring over 350 programs with strong international potential.
Around 130 buyers are expected to attend the event, which will include around 50 exclusive screenings of hit scripted series, animated shows, and acclaimed documentaries. The titles 'Beasts of the Colosseum', 'Swapped', and 'The Red and the Black' will be showcased at the market.
Unifrance President Gilles Pélisson discussed the pressing issues facing French distributors and producers ahead of the event, including the changing landscape for French TV distribution in the wake of increasing consolidation and streaming dominance. The event will also include the presentation of France's TV programming export figures for 2025 by Unifrance and the National Film Board (CNC).
## What's on Offer The market will feature a broad selection of programs, including 'Beasts of the Colosseum', which examines how ancient Rome organized the capture and transportation of wild beasts for spectacles, and 'Swapped', a series set in 1889 Paris that follows a young mother who secretly swaps her baby with that of another mother.
## Why it Matters The Unifrance Rendez-Vous TV market is an important event for the French audiovisual sector, offering a clear assessment of how business trends and global developments are reshaping the domestic playing field. The market provides a platform for French distributors and producers to showcase their content to international buyers, and for industry professionals to discuss the latest trends and challenges facing the sector.
Last year's Unifrance Rendez-Vous TV market brought together around 150 buyers from 40 countries and over 50 local distribution companies, demonstrating the event's significance in the global TV programming market. This year's event is expected to be equally successful, with a condensed program that still includes a full lineup of industry panel discussions, events, and screenings.
