T.N. Law Commission Gets New Chairman
Former Chief Justice of Manipur High Court D. Krishnakumar to lead the commission, with five other members appointed

Former Chief Justice of Manipur High Court D. Krishnakumar has been appointed Chairman of the T.N. Law Commission. Justice R.M.T. Teekaa Raman, former judge of the Madras High Court, T.K. Ramachandran, former Additional Chief Secretary, and A. Arunagiri, former Secretary, Law Department, have been appointed as full-time members.
P. Mohan Doss and R. Govindarajan, both former District Judges, have been appointed as part-time members of the commission. The term of office of the Chairman, full-time members, and part-time members will be three years from the date of assumption of charge by the Chairman.
A Government Order was issued by the Law Department for the appointment of the Chairman and members of the T.N. Law Commission. An officer in the cadre of Secretary, Law Department, will be the full-time Member Secretary of the commission.
